FAQs
What if my child doesn't eat at the appointment? That's okay! Whenever possible, we will help schedule the evaluation around a typical feeding, meal, or snack time. However, if your child is not hungry, does not want to eat, or is having an off day, we can still gather valuable information through discussion, observation, play, movement, oral motor assessment, and parent report. We will adjust the session based on your child's needs and comfort level.
Will I receive recommendations at the evaluation? Yes. Before leaving, we will discuss our findings, answer your questions, and provide recommendations for next steps, including whether ongoing feeding therapy may be beneficial.
Can siblings attend? We recommend arranging childcare when possible so caregivers can focus on the evaluation and discussion. If this is not possible, please let us know—we understand and will work with your family's needs.
Do you accept insurance? / What is your pricing? Our pricing and practice model information can be found here.
